Z reports (closings)#
Each closing is archived. The Z reports — till closings page lists them (the last 30 days by default, 500 at most); filter with From / To then Filter. A closing belongs to the day its session was opened: a service ending at 1:30 am stays the previous day's.
At the top, the period's totals: Revenue, Refunds, Expenses, Total and Cash differences (green if zero, orange if surplus, red if short).
For each closing: the date, who opened and closed, the point of sale, the revenue by payment method, refunds and expenses, the total and the till difference. "Archived" (padlock) means the figures are frozen as they were at closing; a very old Z with no archive is "recalculated". The closing note shows if the cashier wrote one.
Two action rows, Simple and Detailed:
- the eye opens the report to print from the browser;
- the printer reprints it on the network printer ("Sent to n printer(s)", or "No network printer — use Preview").
The Orders and Dashboard links open that closing's sales. A Z's content is explained in reading the Z report. You cannot edit, delete or reopen a Z here.
The Reports page#
The Reports page analyses a period (by default, from the start of the month to today). Open it from the Reports entry of the menu (Reports group), or from the "Other files" link in Import / Export.
It shows revenue, orders, average basket, items sold, a per-day chart, the top products, the payment methods, the performance by cashier and the sales detail by product. The CSV button exports the period's sales.
The accounting export#
The Accounting export card produces a CSV file ready for your accountant (sales, VAT, payments). Choose the dates (start of month → today by default) then Download (CSV).
The file (export-comptable-YYYY-MM-DD-YYYY-MM-DD.csv, ";" separator, decimal comma) contains, per sale: date, time, order number, invoice number, customer, total excl. tax, VAT, total incl. tax, payment method, payment detail, status. Then the totals (Revenue, Refunds, Net), payments by method (with tips outside revenue) and the list of refunds.
As on the Z, a sale refunded later stays a sale of its day; the refund counts the day it is made.
