Customers and loyalty
The customer list, import, loyalty points and cafés' stamp cards.
Before you start
- For 🧭 Manager
- Module Customers Loyalty
Customers#
The Customers page (Customers module) lists your customers, 50 per page. Customers are also created by themselves: at the till, for delivery, from an online order or an appointment.
- At the top: the number of customers, the total revenue and the loyalty members (customers with points).
- Search by name, phone or e-mail; the Loyalty box only keeps those with points.
- Columns: customer (and their note), contact, address, orders, total spent, points, sign-up date.
- New customer: Name (required), Phone, E-mail, Address, Notes ("allergies, preferences"). The phone is unique: it identifies the customer.
- The pencil edits; the bin (owner and managers) deletes, after confirmation.
- Export CSV and Import CSV (columns Name, Phone, E-mail, Address, Notes; 6-row preview; "Created / Updated / Skipped"). With a phone, the existing customer is updated; without one, a new one is created.
For richer files (ICE, payment term, credit limit, discount), use Import / Export.
At the till, see customers at the till. For customers served on credit, see B2B accounts and delivery notes.
The points programme#
Set in Settings › Register, Loyalty programme card (owner). It needs the Loyalty module, with the Customers module switched on: the customer records hold the points. Without them, the card shows a padlock saying what is missing. Customers earn points on each purchase and use them as a discount at the till.
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Loyalty on | On |
| Earning | 1 point per 10 MAD paid |
| Point value | 1 point = 1 MAD |
| Minimum / maximum points per order | 100 / 500 |
| Minimum basket to use points | 200 MAD |
Points are only a discount: they can never pay the whole of an order, nor a sale on account. They are earned on the amount actually paid. There is no screen to edit points by hand.
Stamp cards (cafés)#
The Loyalty cards page only exists for cafés and coffee shops, with loyalty on. It manages "10 stamps = 1 free" cards (the goal is 10, not editable).
- New card: name and phone (required). An already-known phone finds its card.
- On each card: the stamps "n / 10", a progress bar, a "n free available" badge.
- Stamp (+1), − (remove a stamp), Use (when a free one is available), bin.
- At the tenth stamp, the counter resets to zero and a free one is earned.
At the till, the cashier finds the card by phone (see customers at the till).
