Splitting the bill

The Split button (scissors icon) is at the top of the payment screen. It does not show on a Glovo order, nor for some business types (no splitting for a salon or a coffee shop). The feature depends on the Bill splitting module.

Three ways to split#

• Equal parts: tap "2 people" to "5 people".
• By items: tap the number of the person paying each item; P = shared equally among everyone. The parts' amounts compute themselves (the last part absorbs rounding).
• By customer: available when the order is separated into several customers (see customers at the till). Each customer pays what they ordered; tap a number to correct.

Settling each part#

Each part has its own payment method (cash, card, cheque, your custom method) and its amount (editable except when splitting by items).

• Cash: enter the cash tendered; the change shows, and Keep the change turns it into a tip.
• Card: with several terminals, choose that part's terminal ("to choose" until done).
• Add a part with Add, remove it with the bin (above 2 parts).
• A bar shows ✓ Total when everything is covered, otherwise the remainder to share.
• With tips, Round up the parts (+ tip) rounds each part.

Tap Confirm payment: every part must be above 0, the total must match, and a cash part must be fully covered.

Limits#

• A sale on account cannot be split.
• With the Glovo type on, the custom method is not available in a split payment.
